Warm milk is an example of a natural sleep aid. But its effectiveness may differ from one person to another. What makes milk a natural sleep aid is because of its amino acids. This substance converts to a sleep-enhancing compound in the brain which can help you relax enough to drift to sleep. If milk is not enough to help you sleep, then you could try to use caffeine-free drink like the chamomile tea.
