    *Malocclusion
The occlusion is the manner in which the upper and lower teeth fit each other when the mouth is closed. A cleft palate can affect the size and shape of the upper jaw, making the union is weak.
     *Alterations in facial appearance

*Early or late appearance of the teeth
The teeth in the area of the crack may occur earlier or later than the others. This is a product of its position in the jaw. These teeth can grow up assuming a normal position. The most common is that they have to straighten.
*Missing teeth, surplus and poor training
Like any other child, a child with a cleft can have a number of problems as the teeth will grow in the mouth. Those who are poorly educated are more susceptible to decay. His odontopediatra discuss the problems of his son and review treatment options with you, as required.
