Periodontal disease of children might be in the future.

There are tests that can be performed in healthy individuals and indicate whether we have a higher risk of periodontal disease in the future. These tests are based on the detection of genetic alteration of a substance called Interleukin and are performed in blood or saliva. People, who have this alteration, have a greater predisposition to suffer periodontal disease in the future than those who did not show. It is possible that in the next few years they appear more similar systems that provide ever greater chance of early detection of these problems. Analysis is somewhat expensive, available from very early dates but that will let you, yes you have periodontal disease, to detect in their children predisposition to, in this way to implement these protocols in preventive very early.
