Stiffness of the jaw.
A long-term complication of radiotherapy, is the growth of benign tumors on the skin and muscles. These tumors impede the normal movement of the mouth and jaw by the patient. The oral surgery also affects the mobility of the jaw. The treatment of jaw stiffness includes the following measures:
* Physiotherapy.
* Use of oral devices.
* Treatments for pain.
* Administration of medicine.
