The Requirements To Prevent Swollen Gums And Tooth From Dying
Oral problems like bad breath, toothaches, bleeding and swollen gums are normal but usually can be prevented by taking good care of the teeth and gums. The requirement in order to keep teeth, gums and the bones around your teeth healthy are regular brushing, flossing and good nutrition. Brushing twice a day and flossing teeth helps in the prevention of plaque build up, which is the true cause of gum problems.
Sometimes tooth pain can be experienced, specially when you touch a tooth and sometimes there is a short stabbing pain when you take in or drink foods that are hot, cold, sweet or sour. This is what we call tooth sensitivity. This mild sensitivity is caused by gum recession or a tooth that was worn down. When the tooth has already cracked, dental cavity is present or the dental filling has been lost, moderate to severe sensitivity can be experienced. To prevent the tooth from dying, seeing the dentist is greatly helpful.
